Join Us for an Amazing Day at the Ülenurme Autumn Fair and Livestock Exhibiton 2023!

On September 2nd, the Estonian Agricultural Museum welcomes you to a day filled with magnificent livestock. For the 32nd time, the traditional event, Ülenurme Autumn Fair and Livestock 2023, will take place!

Come witness the finest Estonian cattle, horses, sheep, quails, and rabbits. Don't miss the beloved manual milking competition where skillful milkers showcase their talents in just one minute. Experience the excitement of manual sheep shearing demonstrations, and at the end of the day, participate in selecting the favorite animal by applause.

At the Ülenurme Autumn Fair, traders offer authentic crafts, delicious local products, plants, and fascinating autumn harvest.

September is Estonia's Food Month, "I Love Estonian Food." We love Estonian food too! Continuing the tradition, this year we're offering lessons in preparing beloved Estonian dishes. Agricultural Museum will share tips on crafting delicious handmade bread and offer freshly baked loaves. Carl Robert Jakobson Farm Museum will teach how to make "sõir" (kind of a cheese) and "karask"(kind of a bread). Estonian Dairy Museum will demonstrate butter and ice cream making.

Kids can meet and pet adorable animals in the mini-animal enclosure and visit the curly-haired alpacas at the Sarve Wellness Farm area. The Southern Estonia Dog Center will introduce different dog breeds and hold dog performances. Additionally, kids can enjoy carousel rides, trampoline jumping, and try their hand at being a farmer at the Mini Farm play area.

For the first time at the Ülenurme Autumn Fair, you can explore a fascinating exhibition of various tomato varieties grown in Estonia, presented by Kaja Murde from the Tomato Garden.

In the Craft Yard, witness the mesmerizing agricultural-themed magic show by Estonia's most successful female magician, IRENE KIVASTE, specially prepared for the Ülenurme Autumn Fair! And for music enthusiasts, MARI KALKUN will warm your hearts with her delightful performance.
