The plough exhibition at Kurgja was inspired by a significant milestone in history: on August 11, 2024, 150 years had passed since the first Estonian farmers' ploughing competition, organized by Carl Robert Jakobson, the master of Kurgja and leader of the Pärnu Farmers' Society.
The exhibition showcases a variety of ploughs, such as moldboard and beam ploughs, as well as numerous ploughing-related memorabilia, awards, and the history of ploughing competitions in Estonia.
Come explore and be amazed!
The exhibition will remain open until August 31, 2025.
