Come celebrate history! On November 1st, 2024, the Tori Horse Breeding Farm will proudly open its brand new indoor riding arena – the largest and most modern in Estonia. To make this event even more special, beloved band Terminaator will perform an exclusive concert with a country twist!
Historical and Cultural Significance
Established in 1856, Tori Horse Breeding Farm is the oldest in Estonia and has played a crucial role in breeding the Tori horse, with its breeding traditions now aiming for inclusion in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List. The farm's stable complex, part of the Tori manor ensemble, was meticulously restored and was honored with a National Heritage Board Award in 2021.
Did you know that the ancestor of the Tori breed, Hetman, left a legacy of 48 stallions and 37 mares? His skeleton is preserved in the farm's museum, offering visitors a unique glimpse into Estonia's equestrian heritage.
Raising the Bar for Equestrian Sports
The newly opened arena will take Estonia's equestrian sector to new heights, providing a world-class facility for international competitions. The Tori indoor riding arena is a true gem in the world of Estonian equestrian sports.
